Course Introduction
HeadStart
For Children Aged 7–18
HeadStart provides a more advanced academic English learning environment for students as they grow from language learners into globally minded individuals. We believe effective global learners require both English proficiency and the ability to think critically and engage with the world.
The curriculum is informed by the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and the College and Career Readiness (CCR) framework, emphasizing the practical use of English in reading, writing, discussion, and cross-disciplinary learning. Through inquiry, discussion, and academic practice, students develop the skills needed to understand the world, respond to society, and take meaningful action as internationally minded changemakers.
